The Cantabrigia Lodge No 3532

Freemasons' Hall, Bateman St,  Cambridge CB2 1NA

The Lodge was formed in 1911 to bring ‘Town & Gown’ together as the two then existing Lodges in Cambridge, Scientific Lodge No. 88 and Isaac Newton University Lodge No. 859 had each grown too large.

We currently have a small membership of 35 members from a mix of backgrounds – but with a slant towards University students & members – especially Anglia Ruskin University. The age range is from 21 to over 90. The longest subscribing member has been a member for over 50 years and 8 have joined in the last 5 years.

The Lodge meets on the 4th Wednesday October to April except December. Installation Month: October

While attendance at all Lodge meetings is not obligatory, we encourage new members to try and attend regularly, so they can learn about Freemasonry and get to know the other members of the Lodge and the regular visitors that attend Lodge nights. Mentoring, in the early years especially, is provided both by the Lodge Mentor and your Proposer and Seconder. However all members will be happy to answer any questions you may have – giving different insights into how they perceive Freemasonry.

If you are interested in joining the Lodge, or finding out more, please contact us.
